Among the members of the Jury there were outstanding personalities such as the Director of CDTI, Mr. Maurici Lucena, the Director of INTA, Mr. Fernando González, the President of the Association of Aeronautic Engineers of Catalonia, Joan B. Ferrandis, the President of ATECMA, Mr. Ricardo Martí Fluxá and the Astronaut and General Manager of Deimos Space, Mr. Pedro Duque. NTE was awarded the Flyer Prize on the Best Company within the Space Industry for its 20 years of activity in the space sector, its 24 flight units developed for international space missions and its 15 registered patents of space technology developments. The prize was handed over to the President of the Werfen Group, Mr. Josep M. Rubiralta and to NTE’s General Manager, Mr. Pau Planas, by the Spanish astronaut, Mr. Pedro Duque. The event held in the oval hall of the National Museum of Catalonia Art located in the National Palace of Montjuic, was graced with the presence of the Catalan Minister for Innovation, Universities and Enterprise, Mr. Josep Huguet and of the third Deputy Major of Barcelona and Councillor for Taxes and Economic Promotion, Mr. Jordi William, and was attended by more than 900 people related to the aviation and space business. |
