NTE-SENER supplies precision positioning and pointing, real-time control and data management solutions for space and science applications involving the custom development of optical and electro-optical instruments.

In this area, NTE-SENER puts together engineering solutions which feature electronic servo-actuated precision structures and mechanisms in closed-loop.

Their command and control is guaranteed by providing operator consoles or by designing in compliance with system-wide interfaces and communication protocols.

Among other examples, NTE-SENER delivers hardware such as the Interferometer Data Management and Diagnostics Unit for ESA's LISA Pathfinder mission, the Secondary Mirror Drive Mechanism for the Gran Telescopio de Canarias (GTC), the Filter Wheels for GTC's OSIRIS Multi-object Spectrograph, and develops Large-format Digital Cameras for aerial cartography applications.
